Coaches, Parents and Players,

On behalf of Knothole Baseball’s Board of Directors, I would like to thank everyone for their patience as we navigated together through these unprecedented times.  Your patience has paid off! Government officials have announced we can begin participating in youth baseball in Ohio Tuesday, May 26^th, 2020. Based on the updated information, our board has confirmed we will start our 2020 season on Saturday, June 6^th, 2020.

Knothole Baseball - 2020 Season:

• It will be a shorter season compared to past seasons. 

• We are asking all teams to please commit, to play, no later than Wednesday, May 20^th.

• Opening Day will be Saturday, June 6^th, 2020

• End of season will be Tuesday, July 7^th, 2020. 

Knothole Baseball - Tournaments:

• All tournaments will start on Saturday, July 11^th, 2020. 

• All tournament formats will be determined based on the number of teams interested in participating.

• Location will be determined.

  Knothole Baseball’s top priority is to provide the opportunity to play youth baseball in a safe and healthy environment, under the guidelines of the state and local government and health officials.  The 2020 season will look a little different from previous seasons.  We will be required to follow guidelines provided by our state and local government and health officials.  These guidelines will cover practices, games, pre-game, in-game and post-game requirements.  It is important that all participants do their part and comply with all required guidelines.  Knothole Baseball has been in existence since 1932. We stayed our course through these unprecedented times so we could provide a 2020 season.  Now, we need your help!  Please promote, encourage and monitor social distancing.

Again, thank you for your patience, understanding and support of Knothole Baseball.  Please stay healthy and most of all, take care of each other. We look forward to seeing everyone on the baseball fields soon.
